The Battersea Barge
Nine Elms Lane
London SW8 5BP

SimG Productions once again presented three intimate and informal cabarets at the Battersea Barge – ‘one of the most atmospheric performance spaces in town’ – as part of their Seasons of cabaret, to a sold out audience yet again!

…Rebecca Lock & Annalene Beechey

Sunday 14th August 2011 at 7.30pm

To celebrate leading lady Rebecca Lock’s debut cabaret she was joined by friend and fellow West End chanteuse Annalene Beechey for a unique one-off evening of song and chat. The girls were joined by the supremely talented Peter White as musical director.

Their extensive West End credits range from Beauty & The Beast to Wicked, Phantom to Avenue Q, Les Miserables to Mary Poppins. “So, Be Our Guest and join them for Popular Music Of The Night because There’s A Fine Fine Line, but At The End Of The Day Anything Can Happen!”

… the Composers: Irvine, Olding, Sutton & Wythe

Sunday 21st August 2011 at 7.30pm

Dougal Irvine, Grant Olding, Tim Sutton & Laurence Mark Wythe are heralded as four of the brightest lights in new British Musical Theatre writing – from Irvine’s acclaimed acoustic musical Departure Lounge, to Olding’s infectious skiffle songs in the National’s 5star One Man Two Guvnors, to Sutton’s verdantly scored The Secret Garden, to Wythe’s multi-nominated Off-Broadway debut Tomorrow Morning

This rare evening placed all four composers together in one place to celebrate their work; they were joined by West End guests Stephen Ashfield, Samantha Barks, Annalene Beechey & George Ure; as a special surprise each composer swapped a song each and did a unique cover version … and finally Stage Left Podcast Streamed the entire performance live on the internet (which was in turn watch by over 800 supporters!).
