LATEST NEWS: November 2009

Well, 2009 turned into the busiest year of my life, and I haven’t been happier professionally and creatively!

I have thoroughly enjoying my capacity as the Resident Director on the WE WILL ROCK YOU UK Tour. It has been such a rewarding challenge to look after the show for Ben Elton and I have certainly enjoyed the responsibility he and the shows Producer gave me. In early November, for the Opening at Edinburgh Playhouse, Michael Falzon and Darren Day (our new Galileo and Khashoggi) successfully joined the cast to wonderful notices. The show has also announced that it will be finishing it’s first year Tour at the O2 in Dublin for January 2010!

Also in October 2009 I created SimG Production to produce my very first West End Concert! ‘Just Me … and Them: The Music of Scott Alan’ - On Sunday 11th October 2009 at the Leicester Square Theatre the acclaimed American composer Scott Alan made his return to the London stage. Originally planned as a ‘one-night-only’ event, but due to unexpected ticket sales a second performance was added! Scott played two sold-out Concert performances of his amazing song catalogue, and was joined on stage by his friend and Broadway star Stephanie J. Block, and a whole host of fantastic West End talent: John Barr, David Bedella, Annalene Beechey, Mark Evans, Anna Francolini, Alison Jiear, Ramin Karimloo, Rebecca Lock, Patina Miller, Frances Ruffelle, Caroline Sheen, Oliver Tompsett.
