Following last years sell out ‘Simply The Music of Scott Alan’ Concert in London, SimG Productions brought together an all-star West End cast, this time to celebrate the work of the award winning American songwriter Bobby Cronin.
This acclaimed UK Premiere Concert featured a wonderful 4-piece band, 17 amazing singers, 5 backing vocalists, and a surprise performance from Bobby himself.
Cronin is the composer/lyricist and co-book writer (with Alicia Dempster) of Welcome to My Life, and composer/lyricist of 'Til Death Do Us Part with book writer Allen Mogol; Cyrana, with a book by award-winning playwright Crystal Skillman; Caty Bridgewater for Step Theatre Company; and Daybreak which will receive a NYC reading in mid-January. He is also a co-writer of That's Andy, has written music for the web series Thank You Next, and won the 2010 Midtown International Theatre Festival Award for his musical contribution to Ten Reasons I Won’t Go Home With You (also nominated for Outstanding Musical). Cronin’s songs have been performed across America, and his debut album titled ‘Reach The Sky’ is available now.
Special VIP seats were sold in aid of TheatreMAD (part of the fundraising family of The Make A Difference Trust), and all money raised went directly to this very worthy cause. (Registered UK Charity No. 1124014) madtrust.org.uk
